LV02 Sapa Hill Tribes 11Days
sapa This tour will take you through some of the most stunning locations in Vietnam. We start every Sunday from Hanoi.
You will get a unique chance to visit Vietnam's first capital - Hoa Lu, where you will get the chance to visit the two remaining sanctuaries of the ancient citadel.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrival – HANOI (-/-/-)
On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in. Then, a tour by cyclo around the old quarter streets to discover the local people life.

Day 2 : HANOI - LAO CAI (B/-/-)
The morning, we start the city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. Then continue to visit the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam’s first university.
The afternoon is continued by the visit of the Ethnologic Museum and the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred Ngoc Son Temple. The reminder of the day is free for your own exploration of Ha Noi until we take the night train to Lao Cai.

Day 3 : LAO CAI – SAPA (B/L/D)
On arrival at Lao Cai train station we take a drive to SaPa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, we arrive in Sa Pa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sa Pa is a former French hill resort and home to some of Vietnam’s most colorful ethnic minority groups. The afternoon we have enough time to explore the town and pack for trekking days.

Day 4 : SAPA – TA VAN (B/L/D)
Today, our trek into the mountainous region of Sa Pa begins as we depart the town at 09h30. A seven-hour walk takes through Lao Chai San and Lao Chai villages where we have chance to meet the Black Hmong and Dzay hill-tribe peoples.

Day 5 : TA VAN – THANH PHU (B/L/D)
The Phan Si Pang range boasts Vietnam’s highest mountain and lends an alpine feel to the area surrounding this hill station. Today, we continue venturing into the lowland of Sa Pa, home to the Xa Pho, Tay ethnic minority people, all friendly and welcoming.

Day 6 : THANH PHU – NAM SAI (B/L/D)
Upon leaving home stay we start a full day trekking through Nam Cang and Nam Sai via many Hmong, Dzao and Dzay villages.

Day 7 : NAM SAI – BAN HO (B/L/D)
One of our nicest trekking days begins at 09h00. The beaten track is a real challenge however some physical preparation will enable you to fully appreciate today’s trekking.

Day 8 : BAN HO – SAPA – LAO CAI (B/L/-)
After a morning trek to joint the main road, we will be transferred by a local vehicle to Sa Pa. Time to have a shower in a mini-hotel and shopping until transfer to Lao Cai to board on overnight train back to Ha Noi.

Day 9 : HANOI – HALONG (B/L/-)

On arrival in Hanoi early in the morning, we travel by road to Hai Phong -the biggest port town of northern Vietnam. After breakfast at Hai Phong, a short sightseeing tour of Hai Phong. A 5-hour boat trip to visit Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. During the boat trip, visit a grotto and enjoy the seafood lunch.

Day 10 : HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/-/-)
Drive back to Ha Noi with a stopover at Dong Trieu pottery village. Free afternoon at Ha Noi for own activities with guide at disposal.

Day 11 : HANOI – Departure (B/-/-)
At leisure until transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure flight (check out hotel before 12h00).

2010 - LV05 Fansipang Moutain 9 Days

Fansipan is Vietnam's highest peak located in the far north just outside of Sapa. Fansipan a very steep mountain that gets a lot of moisture. Those looking to climb it should be in good shape and prepared to to have muddy wet feet The scenery is incredible remember to bring a camera. For most of Vietnam having a rain coat is a little excessive because it is so warm. On the mountain having a rain coat is not a bad idea especially at night.
